Widely regarded as one of the nation’s leading commentators on political and cultural affairs, Errol Louis is now the host of NY1's Inside City Hall. Prior to NY1, Errol was a radio talk show host on WWRL and an award winning columnist of the New York Daily News (and a member of the paper’s editorial board, which won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize). Once a regular participant on CNN’s top-ranked “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” Errol was inevitably introduced as “one of the nation’s sharpest political minds,” and in 2006 provided live Election Night commentary on CNN alongside anchor Lou Dobbs. He also regularly served as guest host of the 2-hour “Brian Lehrer Show” on WNYC radio, handling audience calls and interviewing a wide range of experts, authors and political leaders. Errol holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Harvard University (1984), a Master’s in Political Science from Yale (1989), and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School (2005).
