Danielle Nottingham

Danielle Nottingham went from driving through cotton fields to get to work at her first television station in Greenville, MS to traveling the yellow bridges of “Steeler Nation” in Pittsburgh, PA, to CBS Newspath were she is currently a correspondent based in their DC bureau. It seems like fate would not stop Danielle from becoming a journalist. Despite interning at a television station in Syracuse, she took the academic route and went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to pursue a career as a writer and college professor. Danielle was days from becoming a business consultant when the mayor of her hometown of Cherry Hill, NJ offered her a job in the New Jersey governor’s administration to be a speech writer. Danielle’s stops along the way to CBS Newspath included positions as weekend anchor in Milwaukee, WI, where she won a Wisconsin Broadcaster’s award for election coverage, morning anchor in Charleston, SC, where she won an Associated Press award for education reporting, and then a Weekend Anchor and Reporter at WPXI in Pittsburgh where the Saturday Morning Newscast was nominated for Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy 2010.
